Happy spring! It's not technically spring, and it snowed here in St. Louis today, but this week feels like spring to me. I love winter. I love cold, and snow, and sweaters, and candles, and fireplaces, and cozy blankets. But none of that is what keeps me busy in the winter. I have a seasonal job reading college admissions applications that keeps me hopping from December-February, and I love that too--it belongs on my list of things I love about winter.
I also appreciate the return of the sun, longer, warmer days, and the sudden energy burst that comes from having one fewer job that March brings! So now it's March, and I'm reading a lot and writing a lot, and I'm working on two novels at the same time, which I've never done before, but I'm so full of energy and ideas that I can't help myself.
